  • Outdoor BBQ and Dining area
  • Two different tent options, including a luxury Bell Tent with hot tub
  • Pets are welcome

Oak Tree Farm is located near Llanfynydd in Carmarthenshire. It's just a short drive from Carmarthen town centre, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, and on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The site has a couple of different tent options available to book, for the best experience, make sure you book the tent that comes with a hot tub and outdoor dining area.

All are located in quiet luscious woodland, surrounded by green mountains. There is a shared toilet and shower facility, and each tent sleeps four people - with one double bed, and two smaller futon beds.

It’s well placed near between West Wales and South Wales allowing you to explore both regions on day trips from the campsite. It is also a great option for families looking for a quiet place to camp together, or larger groups thanks to the two tents onsite, though you will need to book ahead of time.

The tents come with bedding included, which is definitely a positive when it comes to packing! Electricity is not available in the tents, though the larger bell tent with the hot tub, does have an outdoor electrical point which can be used.

There are various activities available in Llangranog, including paddleboarding, surfing and kayaking less than 15 minutes from the site. This is a great spot to stay if you are feeling adventurous, but need some luxury to wind down in the evening.

  • Located a stone's throw from ‘Hell’s Mouth beach
  • Outdoor hot tub and BBQ area with panoramic beach views (and alpacas!)

Located on the Llyn Peninsula of North Wales, Night Sky Glamping is just a stone’s throw from Abersoch and Porth Neigwl beach, known as hell’s mouth, which is a great surf and kayak spot. You can also hang out with the onsite alpacas!

This is just a small site with two glamping options so you’ll need to book well ahead to secure a space. Their smaller ‘Woody Tent’ is perfect for couples or families of up to four people with indoor dining and lounging area.

Meanwhile, the safari tents are great for larger families. There is lots of space for lounging and a functional kitchen if you’d like to cook your own meals rather than eat out. They also run pizza night on a Tuesday which is well worth considering.

Outdoors, both tents have the obligatory hot tub and BBQ area with beautiful countryside views, but when you’d rather spend a cosy night indoors, you can move indoors to enjoy a warm log burner.

  • Glamping domes with spectacular views
  • The largest domes are for up to eight people, and pets are welcome
  • Situated on a smallholding with horses and sheep

Cae Nant glamping domes are really something special. Looking like they have just landed from another planet onto this Welsh smallholding, the domes offer wonderful views into the mountainous landscape from an elevated position.

Outside of each dome you will find picnic tables, a fire pit and hammocks, along with a wood-fired pizza oven for perfect meals.

Of course, there's the obligatory hot tub, although it's not your typical design, it's a wood-fired Hikki Bohemen hot tub that's more like an outdoor bath with a built-in stove. Not all domes come with a hot tub so double-check before booking. There are also hot shower and toilet facilities on site.

The two larger domes can sleep up to eight people, and your pet is even welcome, as long as they are well-behaved. The design of each dome even allows you to see the night sky from your bed, offering a wonderful way of falling to sleep whilst admiring the wonders of nature. Although you will be cosy indoors, you will feel like you are sleeping outside.

Cae Nant is located in Llanfyllin, Powys - South of Llangollen and North of Newtown. The site is bordered by rolling hills and rivers, making it a picturesque beauty to enjoy.
