Frequently Asked Questions
Where does my tour begin?
The start location for each tour is included in the tour description. You can also see it using the onscreen map after purchasing the tour.
When does my tour start?
You can begin your AudioWalk whenever you like, that’s the beauty of a self-guided tour. It’s also possible to pause the tour if you want to explore the area around you.
Can I use my tour on more than one device?
No, once you have activated a tour on your device, it can only be used on this device. However, we do encourage you to share the tour with friends and family. You can do this by sharing a pair of headphones or taking the tour using your phone's speaker (ensuring not to disturb others around you).
Is the tour suitable for dogs?
Yes, everywhere we visit on the Cardiff Bay AudioWalk is dog-friendly.
Is the tour suitable for wheelchairs or prams?
No, there are two sets of steps on the Cardiff Bay AudioWalk so the route is not suitable for wheelchairs and prams. However, you can modify the route by skipping the stops called ‘The Celtic Ring’ and ‘Ianto’s Shrine’ to make the route accessible. These are not major stops so it should not impact the tour too much.
Is the tour suitable for rainy days?
No, we wouldn’t advise you take the tour on a rainy day as it’s an entirely outdoor tour. You can always pause the tour and complete it later or on another day if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
