Frequently Asked Questions
Where does my tour begin?
The start location for each tour is included in the tour description. You can also see it using the onscreen map after purchasing the tour.
When does my tour start?
You can begin your AudioWalk whenever you like, that’s the beauty of a self-guided tour. It’s also possible to pause the tour if you want to explore the area around you.
Can I use my tour on more than one device?
No, once you have activated a tour on your device, it can only be used on this device. However, we do encourage you to share the tour with friends and family. You can do this by sharing a pair of headphones or taking the tour using your phones speaker (ensuring not to disturb others around you).
Is the tour suitable for dogs?
Yes, everywhere we visit on the Aberystwyth AudioWalk is dog-friendly, including the cliff railway if you choose to take that up Constitution Hill.
Is the tour suitable for wheelchairs or prams?
No, the final stop on this tour is at the top of constitution hill which requires walking up the hill with steps or taking the cliff railway which isn’t particularly wheelchair or pram friendly. However, the rest of the tour is suitable for wheelchairs and prams so it’s still possible if you listen to the final track without climbing the hill (which isn’t a huge problem).
Is the tour suitable for rainy days?
No, we wouldn’t advise you take the tour on a rainy day as it’s an entirely outdoor tour. You can always pause the tour and complete it later or on another day if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
